Board of Education Hits Hard on School Violence.

Criminal referrals on rise in war on public school violence in Moore County:

School board vice chair David Hensley reports that there have been 15 law enforcement referrals involving students engaged in on-campus violence during the past two months.

During the previous six years there were zero referrals.

The referrals are accompanied by immediate suspensions.
